The unusual duo creates a superb balance of tangy citrus fruits with a subtle cocoa butter backdrop, nestling comfortably among the classic juniper-rich, aromatic spice of the core Bathtub botanicals. Great with tonic, and works a treat splashed in ginger beer. Nose: Big helpings of orange peel and juniper, backed up by classic red fruit notes, and touches of anise and cardamom. Palate: Bittersweet herbs, red wine-esque sweetness, more juniper with a hint of fresh pine, cassia spiciness, with a current of orange zest running through it. Finish: Drying herbs with yet more citrus offering balance. Ableforth�s is best known for the multi-award-winning Bathtub Gin and Rumbullion! spiced rum. Since launching in 2011, the range has grown significantly, using time-honoured techniques such as cold compounding as well as cold distillation for their 91.2% abv absinthe, Summer Fruit Cup and Christmas Mulled Cup!
