The first Irish Old Tom Gin to be made this century. Boatyard Old Tom is slightly sweet and is aged for four months in ex-Bourbon barrels. Size: 700ML Proof: 92 (46% ABV) Origin: Ireland Distillery: Boatyard Inspired by the Old Tom gins of yore and the resurgence in its popularity, Northern Ireland's Boatyard Distillery have created their own take on the traditional style of gin. To make it, they age their excellent Boatyard Double Gin in bourbon barrels, then sweeten it with Fermanagh honey. Wonderful in a Martinez. Nose: Full-bodied aroma. Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth. Finish: Rich and smooth.
