Size: 700ML Proof: 84 (42% ABV) Origin: United Kingdom Distillery: Cooper King Those wonderful folks at the Cooper King have created a classic, juniper-led dry gin in micro-batches using its brand new 10 and 5 litre stills. Some of the botanicals used were foraged from its own site, including fresh lemongrass, locally grown lavender and even its own honey. Something that's really very cool about this gin is the innovative distillation process. Copper King is the first distillery in Yorkshire to combine cold vacuum distillation with traditional hot copper-pot distillation. This is a tailored approach which is designed to suit each individual botanical so that the most well-rounded, fresh and oily flavours can be extracted. What's more, the distillery is run on 100% green energy! Cooper King also has joined the international environmental initiative 1% For The Planet, and will be donating 1% of the gin's annual sales to charity. Cooper King is based in the heart of Yorkshire, founded in 2016 by Dr Abbie Neilson and Chris Jaume following a journey across Tasmania to visit all the Tassie whisky distilleries.
