Dry juniper is balanced with sweet orange and sherry notes, bitter tannins from the wood mingle with fragrant spices. Size: 700ML Proof: 80.4 (40.2% ABV) Origin: Scotland Distillery: John Crabbie & Co. Here we have a new, snazzy bottling of Crabbie's 1891 Old Tom Gin, bottled at the slightly lower strength of 40.2% ABV. The name is a nod to the fact that the recipe was created by John Crabbie himself back in 1891! The sweeter gin was also rested in oak casks before bottling, and it's a winner in cocktails. Nose: Aroma is very pleasant. Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour. Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
