Size: 700ML Proof: 90.2 (45.1% ABV) Origin: Scotland Distillery: North Point This intriguing expression from the North Point Distillery all the way up on the north coast of Scotland features a base spirit made from sugar cane (which makes sense, considering the distillery also produces some excellent rum!). Its botanicals include juniper, Scots pine (taken from a family Christmas tree planted in the garden back in 1993), Icelandic moss (grown in the Highlands, not Iceland), and more. Deliciously coastal, with hints of citrus rounding it out. Nose: Full-bodied aroma. Palate: Crisp juniper and anise, orange oil, subtly vegetal, with a hint of sea salt lasting on the finish. Finish: The finish is unique and complex.
