For this take, we harvested our own American Single Malt Whiskey and finished it in 74% Samuel Adams Utopias barrels and 26% Oloroso Sherry barrels. Nose: Aroma is very pleasant and delightful. Palate: Juniper, cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorn and a mix of orange, lemon and lime peels. Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting. The story of Dogfish Head began in June of 1995 when we opened Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats - the first state's first brewpub - in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The plan was to bring original beer, original food and original music to the area � and we did just that!
