It was first made at the Camberwell Distillery in the late 19th century and was known as Sceats & Willis Gin, before being rebranded as El-Bart Gin in the USA in 1904. The Sceats family rediscovered the recipe in 2020 and confirmed it by finding an unopened bottle of El-Bart from 1939, so this is a bit of a taste of history. Nose: Aroma is very pleasant. Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour. Finish: Long, delicate and complex.
