Four Marys Zesty Sherbet is a distilled gin using Kaffir Lime Leaves, Yuzu peel and Star Anise alongside Juniper, Coriander and Angelica to create the experience of an old-fashioned sherbet fountain in a glass! Size: 500ML Proof: 80 (40% ABV) Origin: Scotland Distillery: Four Marys The inaugural release in a series of gins inspired by Mary Queen of Scots' four ladies-in-waiting, it's Four Marys Zesty Sherbet Gin from Linlithgow Distillery (the folks behind LinGin)! Traditional gin botanicals are combined with kaffir lime, yuzu, star anise and galangal. This particular expression is inspired by Mary Fleming, known as 'the lively one', hence why it was paired with fizzy lemon sherbet, we assume. Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming. Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice. Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
