Combining an even split of malted and unmalted wheat, this expression pays respect to the distillery's ancestors, who got the whole thing up and running back in 1700! A finishing period in a combination of Napoleon oak and Port barrels brings an enjoyable depth of sweet fruit and rich cask influence. Nose: Full-bodied aroma. Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice. Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
