Marberg Icelandic Gin is a traditional(ish) gin coming in all the way from Iceland. Size: 700ML Proof: 86 (43% ABV) Origin: Iceland Distillery: Thoran Distillery Marberg Gin hails all the way from Iceland, produced at the Thoran Distillery. Its botanical list is fairly traditional, with black pepper and grapefruit among the selection, aside from the addition of red seaweed (commonly known as Dulse), an Icelandic botanical. Among the citrus there's a wonderful umami note, giving it a unique flavour profile. Give this one a go in a Tom Collins, accompanied with a twist of grapefruit peel. Nose: Aroma is very pleasant. Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end. Finish: Lingering finish.
