Size: 700ML Proof: 94.8 (47.4% ABV) Origin: United Kingdom Distillery: Portobello Star This classic style of gin, originally popular in the 18th Century, is slightly sweetened, making it an excellent sipper. With a bold ABV of 47.4%, and having spent some time in cask, this really is the cat's whiskers for adding both strength and sweetness to cocktails. Nose: Bold juniper and crisp lemon develop to lemon drizzle cake and iced biscuits with a sugary pepper. Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth. Finish: Rich and smooth.
